Racing Stripes & Accent Graphics
Alignment is everything. We use laser guides and two-person technique.
Cut vinyl racing stripes, hood accents, hash marks, roof graphics, and body pinstripes applied with precision — not by eye. Misaligned stripes ruin builds. We use laser alignment tools and vehicle-specific templates to get it right.
Racing stripes are a deceptively technical job. They look simple — how hard can it be to put a stripe down the middle of a hood? The answer is: harder than it looks, and the results of getting it wrong are immediately obvious to anyone who looks at the car.
The centerline of a vehicle's hood is often not visually centered when you look straight down from above — panel lines, body contours, and hood vents all create visual references that your eye uses to judge whether stripes are "straight." A stripe that is geometrically centered may still look off if it doesn't account for these visual anchors. A stripe that tracks slightly off-center will look dramatically wrong.
We use laser alignment guides that reference the vehicle's actual centerline and body geometry, not tape-measure guesswork. On stripe jobs that span from bumper to trunk — the classic dual-stripe layout — we work in two-person teams, with one person on each side of the vehicle, to ensure the stripes advance in parallel through every panel transition.
What we handle: - Dual center stripes (hood to trunk, any width) - Single offset stripe - Hood-only and roof-only accents - Cowl-induction hood graphic packages - Hash mark panels (rear fender accents) - Lower body accent stripes - Racing livery sections (door panels, lower rocker accents) - OEM replica graphic packages for specific model trims
OEM replica packages: Many popular muscle car and sport compact trims come with factory stripe packages that dealers charge a significant premium to install. We can replicate most common factory configurations — GT stripes on a Mustang, R/T graphics on a Challenger, SS packages on a Camaro — in any color, using vehicle-specific templates. Often for considerably less than the dealer option.
Stripe finishes: Available in gloss, matte, satin, and metallic in any color. Two-tone stripe packages (contrasting colors for inner and outer stripes) are a popular upgrade on classic muscle cars.
Removal: Cut vinyl racing stripes remove cleanly from factory paint. This makes them popular for lease vehicles and show cars that need to return to stock, and for enthusiasts who want to update the look without committing to paint.
Key Benefits

Our Process
- 1
Centerline & Reference Mapping
We identify the vehicle's actual and visual centerline, mark reference points at body breaks, and plan the stripe path through every panel before touching vinyl.
- 2
Template Selection or Custom Layout
Factory-replica configurations use vehicle-specific templates. Custom stripe widths and configurations are measured and cut specifically for your vehicle.
- 3
Laser-Guided Application
Laser alignment guide referenced throughout the installation. Two-person technique on hood-to-trunk runs.
- 4
Panel Transition Check
At every panel seam and body line transition, we stop and verify alignment before continuing. Corrections are much easier mid-install than after everything is down.
